Good Morning.
Do many of you change the oem brake master to the Brembo RC series?
What is the benefit and would you do it again?

I have the Brembo RCS on my Tuono, it did not come with a Radial MC.

I don't think it's any better, in power or feel, than the OEM Radial MC on my 1098S, 1299S and Multistrada S..

Just my opinion.

Very happy with the stock MC on my 1199S. I use a RCS on my 675R and I would say the RCS has a bit more feel to it, but both stop quite effectively. Does it have $300 worth of feel, and work better? Will reserve that judgement till after next weekends trackday. From everything i have read and my street riding it should not disappoint.

I have the Brembo RCS brake and clutch master cylinders on my 1199.
Initially, I installed the RCS brake because I wanted my 1199 brakes (spongy; because of abs?) to feel more like the ones on my previous 1198 (grabby.. i.e. one finger braking).
Happy to report that they met my expectation in the brake "feel" department.

If you're after a change in brake feel, I recommend the RCS.

Curious if you got the matching RCS 17 or the 20

If 17, The piston is the same, Did it change the feel at the 18 or only the 20 cam position?

Yes, RCS 16 clutch mc, RCS 17 brake mc.

Brake feel is different at both positions - compared to OEM mc - but more noticeable at the 20 position (at which it's worth mentioning that the lever isn't extended as far out as the OEM lever would be). For what it's worth, (edit: I installed Brembo HP supersport discs (floating) which are 5.5mm thick at the same time as the brake RCS. The discs are 1mm thicker than OEM and maybe this has also helped make the feel at the lever more sensitive? Can't be sure.)

Can't give you any feedback regarding the RCS 16 clutch mc just yet as I haven't ridden my bike since I had it installed. To be honest, I only bought it to compliment the brake RCS-- couldn't source a dummy Brembo clutch lever like the ones available for the RSV4, S1000RR, etc.

Hope that helps..
