Unfortunately I picked this up thinking that it would be compatible with my thumb brake but I was wrong. Its in excellent condition.

It does have 2 ports. I have the top port plugged off. You could run a brake light switch from it if you wanted to. It will require a custom length plunger but the OEM one can be cut down fairly easily to work.

It will work on any XX99, V4, and probably a shitload of other bikes.

The first $900. plus shipping gets it.

One-piece rear master… totally baller. GLWS, B!

Crap man you just got the PS13 and now up for sale? No reason why it wont work with a thumb brake they are running them in SBK with no issues with thumb brake so were you just having a hard time bleeding it? They are super finicky new so the last one I got is running good have'nt had to touch it.

So apparently there is not a valve in there to prevent the fluid from just being pushed back up into the reservoir. I got it bled but the fluid would just go between the two reservoirs. The only way to get them to work was to press both at the same time. That kind of defeats the purpose of it. So Brembo makes a MC specifically for use with a thumb brake where it uses the thumb brake reservoir only. Its too bad as I really liked it. I was debating just keeping it and not using the thumb brake but I'm just too committed to turn back now. I guess I want my cake and to eat it too.

Hmmm thats strange so it should not matter what ports you have the rear brake and thumb brake hooked too. Both ports do same thing so should have been able to have everything hooked up then bled the rear caliper then the thumb brake.

Nope it did not matter. I swapped both lines, bled them and the fluid just pushed up into the reservoirs. I guess the 2nd port would be used for a pressure switch for either a brake light switch or brake pressure monitoring.

What’s the benefit of this one then?

The integrated reservoir is pretty clean, eliminating the remote reservoir and the tube coupled with the ability to run either a pressure brake light switch or brake pressure sensor, one could also run a bleed screw on the top port to simplify brake bleeding.

Correct the PS 13 is not valve proportioned for the thumb brake. Both ports “out only”

Yeah never looked into too deep to know if it was thumb brake capable especially since I was never going to use one. I have my rear brake hooked up to the inside lower and use the top plugged port to bleed. Made a bleed adaptor just for the PS13 so been solid no issues for last few years.

Free bump for Btopp

Whoever buys this PS 13 from him I have a brand new spare Motion SBK braided brake line for this with stainless steel swivel banjos for $75 as the oem line will not work.
