Hey, fellas.

I had the chance to ride a 1299 Superleggera and fell in love with the front brakes. The lever feel, the power, the responsiveness. It was awesome and has sent me down the rabbit hole of researching what I could do to replicate that on a Hyper 950 SP.

Has anyone slapped on a Brembo RCS Corta Corsa master cylinder? Unfortunately, my research indicates replacing the master cylinder would require also replacing the switches, losing the OEM mirror and also replacing the fluid reservoir brackets, which means I'd upgrade the reservoirs, too. Sadly, it appears swapping only the master cylinder is not possible. Additionally, I'd have to determine whether I'd also want to upgrade the calipers at the time I do this because if I leave the stock calipers, then I'd have to get the RCS 19 but if I upgrade them, I'd have to get the RCS 17. This got very expensive very quickly.

Has anyone done this mod and can you share your experience with us? Thanks!

Yes, I did it on my V4 Panigale and it required almost everything to be replaced on the handlebars to get them to work with the RCS 17/19. See my pics in the Panigale thread. I just picked up a 2024 Hyper 950 SP and was considering the same thing, but then remembered what a huge cost it was to get the good lever feel was.

I'll probably just do folding levers and better pads.
