Is anyone running this configuration? I haven’t bought an exhaust mainly due to price but also noise. Stock, the bike is fairly loud. I mostly ride track but some street. The Bren tune has some features I’m really interested in from a ride ability standpoint plus the throttle 1:1 ratio. But for the track I can’t help but to think I’m leaving some on the table by not putting an exhaust on it. A slip on would be probably the best solution as I could go back to stock for noise controlled tracks (Laguna). But is it worth it? Any thoughts?

Mine is 1299S with Akra Slip on, OEM air filter. BrenTuning flash is excellent

Cycler (forum member) gets those fancy vandemon exhaust I think they’re called at less than half the cost of the Akra .

if your bikes coming up on 15K service, it comes so far apart that replacing full exhaust shouldn’t cost too much

basically you want your bike setup and ready before they send you tuned files, but once they do and your bike is flashed, it’s glorious

I didn’t install the sprint filter because I ride on the filthy streets, but for you on the track you should probably install the good filter and good exhaust, then tune it and love it!

I think the BT is worth it just for the drivability improvements and the low fan temp on option. It made my bike worlds easier around town and doesn't cook me to death anymore. You won't be getting as big of gains with a stock exhaust but lets be honest unless you are on a track how often do we have the throttle pinned to stop upshifting at red line to notice another 5-10Hp the exhaust will give you.

So first did the cored muffler and it was great on sound but didnt really feel any power gains. Next was a bms air filter with termi out the front slip ons with a bren tune. Could feel the power and made the bike more rideable at lower rpms added about 4 to 5 hp with just that. Next was a full redline line exshaust and a update bren tune with 110 leaded full and holy .... . Hang on for dear life. Bike is only a track bike
