Doing track days at Spring Mountain in Nevada...track day tire folks are Bridgestone...will need to replace my SC's soon and am wondering if anyone has used them? Rear is only 190/55....

We are the Bridgestone race tire distributor for the Midwest region, and I ran the R10's on my 1199 last year as well as the Bridgestone slicks. The bike handles great with the R10's on, but the DTC system will not work very well if you're a fast track rider. If you're novice or intermediate, you'll probably be ok with them, just run DTC on level 1. For an Advanced rider, I'd recommend the Bridgestone slicks with the 190/650 rear in the new V01 carcass, with the 125/600 front.

Hi Jarel,

What can you say about the 200 tyres. I also saw the V02 will come out soon.
Do you have any more news about those? I have always been using the Pirelli slicks, but am considering to try the B-stones.

Haven't seen much on the V02 yet other than it's coming some time in 2014 and supposed to have improved grip and wear performance (same as every press release for every new race tire in the history of time! ha ha!). As of right now, there's still not a 200-profile rear Slick or R10, the 190/650 slick rear is as close as it gets.

Then I will just have to test them in March and share my experiences on how much grip this tyre has under the beautifull Spanish sun ;)
