Picked up and mounted the new Bridgestone RS10's

I have to say they are very good tires and in my opinion a great replacement for the Pirelli Supercorsa.

Pre-Ride:

Rode around 150 miles today and they are quite good! I like them better than the Dunlop Q3's and I didn't have my DTC lights flashing like a christmas tree in the wet sections.
I chalk that up to the diameter of the RS10's which seem taller than Q3's.

Based on my experience with Pirelli and Dunlop and now the Bridgestone RS10's I am sold on the RS10's.

Based on cost alone ($285) for the set I am a fan! I love the rounded profile which is very different than the Q3's which seem to be flat in the center. The stock suspension seems to like a rounded profile IMO.

Good tire for the price for sure. I'm on my second rear. The first didn't last long; only one track day. Would get real loose towards the end of the sessions but the DTC worked well in keeping it in line.

I just got these too...what pressures are u running???

Ya even tho people say the Q3 is a 190 and measures 203mm it's still not as tall as the stock Pirelli, that's why the feel a bit flatter. I'm a big q3 fan but will probably give these a go.

Isn't RS10 in the same bracket of performance as supercorsa SC range? Or is that R10,and RS10 is the equivalent of supercorsa SP?

I just got a set of RS10 installed on my Pani also.

Will report back with feedback soon.

Did 34 front and 33 rear for the street. But I let a bit of air out after I was able to get 70 miles on them. They scrubbed in quick. I really like these tires and especially the price!

I just got back from Angeles Crest HWY early morning ride on the RS10 and I jumped online and bought another set from Denniskirk.

The tires are great. Front has great traction, the rear has a decent profile. They warm up quick and I didn't encounter any surprises when driving them hard out of corners. The carcass is a bit soft and the rear profile is rounder than I prefer.

Will see how long they last since my Supercorsa SP V2 only lasted me 1800 miles (of the 1800 miles, 600 easy break-in miles)

I rode with 32/32 I think I can drop the rear to 30psi. The front felt solid at 32, but I would want to experiment on the pressures.

buddy put em on his streetfighter 1098 and loves them

I was about to give the Metzeler M7RR's a swing. Let me ask before I try them..

Steve - Your honest thoughts about them in terms of street grip compared to the SP's and any rain action yet?

JHTmcrider - How does the middle wear on the highway? Rain Action?

ilmostro - Rain action and does the rounder profile you talked about make the bike less aggressive in turn in as you see?

Thanks fellas..

No wet weather use.... will be at the track next weekend so I will give a better feedback...but to me they are the equal of the SP in the dry which lets face it is praise indeed... I am sure they are way better in the wet...but what isn't?? ha... Tip in is great... They heat up really fast .... traction control dialed back to what I had using the SP .... ie DTC 2... Was using DTC 4 with the Q3... In all im happy...but looking at the tyre wear..I am thinking expected mileage may be even less than the Pirelli.... which will suck.... If so then I will probably go back to the Q3... But I am still impressed...

B9009b I would assume that they will wear decent since they are a dual compound.

I haven't been able to put enough miles on them yet but again assume they will wear similar to the Q3's?

Rain I encountered a bit the other day and roads were soaked and spray was being thrown by cars ahead (Boulder area). They seemed solid and unflappable but I also put her into wet mode which I always do in those conditions.

They don't have a ton of sipes or grooves in the rear, but the front seems on par with the Dunlops.

Thanks fellas. I think I am gonna take one for the team on the M7RR's and give them a swing then these to compare also. The M7RR's are $228 a set shipped so price range comparable.

Steve please let us know how they do on the track. Much appreciated there.. And I've never really had an issue in Wet Mode with the SP's so better would be amazing for me. And 2200 miles later and 4 track days my SP's are still good. So even better.

JHT - Thanks. I ride all year so wet weather is important

B9009 check your front tire, I found that it's wearing quicker than my dear. I'm at about the same mileage and the front is at the wear marks.

Yeah I thought maybe I was a wacko lol but my front is wearing a bit more than my rear is. I've heard others get 2-3 rears for 1 front. Any clue as to why we are getting this? and Thanks

Most likely suspension adjustment, or improper suspension adjustment, causing the bike to push the front or overload the front too much.

Makes sense. Thankfully the bike is at the suspension shop getting worked up and dialed in..

Good stuff. If that fails, check that you're running the correct pressures.

Will do I check them right before I ride. I noticed some orange peel on the right side of rear so that makes me think my Oem shock was done. Or set wrong but it was the only setting where the bike felt ok.
