I have a BST carbon rear wheel for the 1199 the has some slight damage. Tire holds pressure and dealer said the wheel is straight. I usually wouldn't post it up but I figured someone out there might want it. I'd keep it and run it but running into financial restrains so let it be your gain. As far as price PM me and we can talk since I'm not sure what to ask for it, thanks for your time

Tire is off wheel and that's the inside, tire held pressure I'll ask $1000 OBO

I would suggest that you contact Terry or Gary at BST for their opinion, but in my opinion that wheel is a write off and only the hub can be used. The rim should be replaced with a new carbon blank (which BST can do).

I have talked with them and figured if someone here wanted to have it if offer it up here first. I may send it back to them once I have the funds.

Lol, sorry, saw the "I don't know what to ask" and the price added later was under a pic. I don't think I need glasses, I think I need Aderal!

I believe you can send the entire wheel to Brocks and for $1200 they'll replace it.

Brocks will do look at the wheel and send you a quote, from there they send the wheel to BST in South Africa and it's a 5-10 week lead time. They said usually for a new carbon blank it's around $1200 for replacement and shipping.

Brocks is AWESOME and if its a spare of yours the time away doesn't make a difference I guess right?

hey if I may ask - was that damage done by someone changing a tire for you? Since I have same wheels Id hate to think this could be done changing the tire and whoever it was doing it obviously paid NO attention to detail or cared about these expensive wheels man! That would piss me off and Id be looking for compensation back!

My delaer said it was straight and held pressure, said it would be fine for the road, I would put it back on but at the moment need the funds. Having said that I'm not a BST technician.

I had less damage than that to the Dragon Lady's front wheel and was advised by BST to put a new carbon fibre blank on the existing hub. Seeing that they are the experts and the Panigale is a 300 km/h+ bike I did not argue, but followed their advice (I live in Pretoria, South Africa, not far away from BST in Kya Sands and my bike was repaired by Race!, Kyalami - also close by).

A most unfortunate of prediciments ...
Tempting yet this may be a costly investment as Claymore has aprised ...

So I pay you $700 plus I got to pay $1200 to BST and I need to wait like 2 months plus shipping to South Africa and at the end of the day I still got a used wheel?
How much a carbon wheel cost new???

New wheels are aound $1900, like I said originally, I wasn't sure about posting this up, i wasn't sure if someone was interested, I figured the wheel was fine I just needed the funds, if you aren't interested then I'm sorry it's a waste of your time, if the admins wouldn't mind then remove the thread
