Thank you. I live in Roswell and thought it might be local to me.

No, for a variety of reasons I ended up buying my V2 from Pandora’s. Since they’ve done a great job taking care of me, I went to them first for my next bike. Not as convenient since I live in Atlanta, but I really appreciate the way they conduct business.

No ceramic bearings. I discussed with Mark at Ducshop and he advised against them due to requiring higher maintenance. I had them on a previous set of BSTs but only kept that bike for a short time too so cant really comment on my experience using both. They can be added at any time for a couple of hundred bucks. It wasn't a cost decision for me just going on the advice I received.

Ok. Thanks. I thought these were sealed bearings that really didn't need much maintenance, regardless of the material they were made of. Yes, ceramic being harder would have less of a tolerance for dirt/debris, but that should not be an issue if the bearing seals are maintained.

I've been specifically looking for a used set of carbon wheels with ceramic bearings. I will have to look into this more before making a decision.

I don't know enough to comment about the maintenance differences. I'm just repeating what I was told by my shop who I trust completely. The cost for the BST ceramic kit is $95 per wheel so its about the same cost difference when purchasing new. Here's a link to the kit:

I was tracking those wheels here for some time here and nothing, yesterday I place ordered on brand new. That’s my luck.

Thanks. I think I’m probably going to hold onto the BSTs. I might pick up a used Streetfighter V4S if a good deal comes along.
