Caliduc's Tricolores - Part 1 (1199S)

I have had a few forum members request that I return and provide current pictures of my Tricolores.

I am not 100% finished with the modifications, however the bikes are certainly close to completion.

Both bikes pretty much have the entire Ducati Performance accessories on them, there are cross bike style, Satin and Gloss Carbon, Titanium and even the tric Pirelli custom tire labels.

Other than being very lucky to have these bikes, I am doubly so in the choice of vendors and tech mechanics who have worked tirelessly with me. I the last 13 months I have sourced parts from many vendors. One vendor of note and a forum member is Gunny Fitz, so for some hard to find bits you may want to approach Gunny.

Apologies in advance for the location and quality of the photos, these are not taken at my residence nor are they of professional quality.

Generally I have replaced all the black plastic where ever possible with quality Carbon Fiber. I have yet to source the 1199 S front dask cowl in carbon due to the GPS.

Got a very nice collection going there Cali. How about I come on out and ride the one you dont want to ride for a few miles, and then we can swap?

Was just sent one of those garage mats too which is pretty nice to show bikes on.

Ok, thats it for now .. my fav is attached.

Three pieces of advice .. don't bother with the Ducati Performance Alarm get the Scorpio rLink ( I replaced the DP alarm ). Get the 3M Venture shield, I previously installed it then removed it, I then swung my boot over the bike and scratched the passenger cowl. However, I left that bit of venture shield on so it saved the paint job. I plan on re-installing the 3M venture shield.

For cleaning Plexus is good .. AUTO GLYM makes the bike shine showroom quality.

These bikes are my two main riding bikes.

Trying to figure out which mirrors you went with on both bikes. Riz on Tri and Moto Science on other one?

Also, many thanks for the kind comments you made despite going thru a very rough time not knowing where stuff was or being updated. I believe you know my stance on this and how frustrated I was also Cali. I truly appreciate your business as does Randy as well. Gratzi!

Ducati Performance on the 1098 S Tricolore and Rizoma on the 1199 S Tricolore.

Beautiful bikes Cali! Thanks for sharing these two awesome pieces of Ducati art.

How do you decide which one to ride? That would be a tough one for me...

What about getting the rear cowl lumbar support in CF for the 1199? I did see that CDT makes one but not sure of the quality and how it would match what you have but thought it would be a nice finishing touch.

Thanks. Look close and you will see that I do indeed have the rear cowl lumbar support and the left and right air vents in Carbon Fiber (on both bikes).

Both bikes ride very differently, I alternate randomly ;-)

Especially like the attention to detail on both bikes, polished Termi cans does it for me.

Both bikes have the entire full termi systems Jet Hot ceramic coated and polished.

great job CD! tastefully done on both!

pani turns in a helluva lot better than the other tri !

CaliDuc Protection

Protection appears to be hot topic.

Couple of photos of my gear.

Dainese custom fitted leathers and custom design Jacket and pants. All are perforated and I wear Dainese Airflow fabric underneath and of cause Ducati Performance socks. The Jacket is different with red accents on the elbows and white dainese logo on the back. Dainese jacket logos are Kangaroo leather. My logo and label are just above my ... and only visible when I am riding on my bike, they kind of go with the personalized plates on both bikes.
