anyone ride with a camelbak or other some such contraption? i get thirsty when riding but don't want to stop that much and it's hard to carry a gatorade bottle at speed -- plus i'd need a different helmet.

are there any bike-specific camelbaks that work well? and before anyone says it, i am not going to wear an adventure jacket by BMW.

i use a northface hydration pack. it fits under everything extreamly thin. I bought it and took the bladder out to carry things cause it was so nice and small. one day i put the bladder back in. its 70 oz. which is 2 liters. more than enough. works like a charm. fill it with gator aid and go. you dont even know you have it on. my model is the thresher you can google it. its from 2009 they dont make it anymore but the dimensions are perfect. camelback has some nice ones in dicks sporting goods. I think they make even smaller ones now. may be time to upgrade.

Kriega offer a 3L pack for some of their backpacks - I have the K25 that has it (I think you buy separately)

The only problem with any of these, is the constant shaking makes the beer flat. I am looking into mini keg that will fit on my tank bag.

i also wear mine under my jersey when i go to yankee games. less vibration beer stays just fine

If you are going to be drinking that much (2 liters) and don't want to stop, then you might want to look into some adult diapers as well :)

Or just place a Foley catheter and you'll never have to stop.

camelbak +1 ( in fact deuter) 3 liters. topped with ice cubes. awesome in the summer!

MY camalpak will save me, i don't like full leathers in hot summer weatherb but thanks

Crap dude! You could just get a mesh Joe Rocket jacket or something like it. Nobody is saying to be in full leathers.

Safety bro! This isn't the 90's anymore. We don't want to read about your bloody skin in this forum!

I actually like stopping to get a drink...this is where I show off the bike and get stupid questions like "how fast does it go?"

On topic: put a camelback in a backpack. Better yet, get a full leather with camelback in them so you get protection and hydration.
