Cancelled Order - Just Couldn't Wait

What to say, frustration consumed me, along with a sneaking suspicion that delivery of my Base+ABS would slide firmly into June and one of the best riding months for me :eek:

Combine this with some niggles and doubts I was having over the less plush suspension, the wheels..... well the writing was on the wall.

I feared nothing could be done to console me, so with one mighty swish of credit card it was done :eek:

I'll now be riding sooner and with all of my issues and worries firmly put behind me.

Sorry chaps, I just had to jump ship :p







Tricolore coming in May :D
 
lol been having these thoughts...I wonder where on there list would I be for an "S" at this point.

wait this long, might as well go BIG or GO HOME !!!!
 
if my S doesnt get here in the next couple weeks I might have to get my deposit back and stroll over to the bmw store... :mad:
 
Personally, I think the blond has some pretty serious explaining to do.

Its been like a form of brainwashing :eek:

at this point I wouldnt knock ya bro, this is prime riding time we losing on

suck because I already gave the dealer my 1198 anticipating I'd be getting me 1199 shortly ugh...frustrating bro

What are you going to buy ? Must have been tough to cancel on the best rated bike in decades. Unless you are going to buy the S or Tri.
 
....did the same,...bailed out,...deposit back......bought a 1098r bayliss rep
with lots of extras for good money......more importantly....got it NOW. !

I was told it could be early May for delivery of my base model.....was told originally it would be early March,...then early April....then Late April/poss early May.....


End of !

Lol.....And I was blaming the Brunette:)

Good move there Xbox.....Now you wont have to wonder if the TRI is that much better than the Base:)
 
Mine is scheduled for May 14th and I decided to hang on. It'll be by far the coolest bike out there from then on.
Come labour day the wait will be a distant memory.
 
I my cancel and get the 848 evo Corsa. Waiting till may 14 just blows pending no more set backs but I just don't have no trust in them at this point.

I'll keep enjoing my 1098S and S4RS until I can get a test ride and see what gives.
 
Nothing will change my mind as I have a 3x World Champion living up the road who has definetly convinced me:)

I'm with Wallaroo.

Mind you, both being Aussie we come with a natural sense of clear thinking ha ha ha

The Panigale was going to be a great bike 2 months ago, 1 month ago and in 1 month, 2 months and 3 months.

I'll keep waiting. I still have the S4Rs to dabble with and as i'm keeping it I'll just wait patiently. Me Mum always said that good things come to those who wait. And pretty much everyone here reckons the Panigale is a good thing.

For those that have surrendered their current Ducati early - I feel for you. It'll make the new bike even more enjoyable.

For those jumping to a BMW or Aprilia, I'm sure you'll have fun as they are still great bikes ... but they're just not Ducatis

I'm guessing there was some financial advantage to be had releasing the 1198 early.

Gotta be sensible with these things bro, but I bet this will only add to the excitement, also its good emotional ammunition to squeeze the price gap down to the Tric:D:D:D:D

I've just purchased a massive slice of patience, along with the nicest scoot I've ever had.

I hope the stripes can't be licked off :p
