Man, if he pulled that .... on me, he'd be leaving the track with no teeth and a broken nose. That was some seriously evil .... to pull on a fellow racer. Could have killed him... Just think what could have happened if he was hit by another bike when he went down!

I'm sorry, but he deserves the full weight of whatever punishment is headed his way.

Darn! Not sure what the other biker did to him, but, that was low! He should be trialed and also banned from the track for life. And that is still light punishment.

And this bloke's still on the Ducati pay roll as a test rider? That's not cool.

know several "racers" with similar anger issues..

they all have insecurities/immaturity issues that lead them to act like pure ....., forgetting the fact that they get to have a job/hobby that majority of enthusiast community would kill for

they are similar to the alpha males pumping iron, riding huge pick up trucks , yet they still look for a fight or argument every chance they get, just so they can overcome the permanent insecurity that seems to always haunt them

To me race track is Holy land, its a place where one needs to show the utmost respect, put aside your immature ego issues, put aside your anger and resentment.. and ride with compassion, respect and courtesy

Don't know about how it is in the big leagues, around here if he or anyone pulled that .... EVERY racer in the pit's would have kicked his ass, he wouldn't had made it out of the paddock...

if it was deliberate (probably is, but difficult to prove) he should be banned for life from racing.

What I'm wondering is, as this seems to be civil court and not just a FIM hearing, what exactly the charges (and possible penalities) are.

How is one rider reaching over and grabbing the brake lever on another bike anything but deliberate? What's hard to prove when the act is on video?

Perhaps he was just concerned about a possible brake failure on the other guys bike and decided to do an impromptu safety test? :p

Always wondered why he wasn't offered a ride after last year's results. Now I know, hope he get's convicted.

??????? This isn't new age uni-sex flower arranging, this is world level motorcycle racing, if your not on KILL before you throw a leg over it, someone else will have your ride.
