Wanted to show what was possible if you do it yourself. There is more to do but I had to put the bike back together for a trip this weekend to Deals Gap.

Still have to wet sand and polish. On break for now.....

Yep anything is possible with a little fabric, 3m 77 spray and some resin. Overlay on top of plastic yeah can't recall last time I saw that being done.

I wish I would've know about this year's ago. I came across a YouTube video a few weeks ago, I haven't personaly seen anyone who has done it locally, maybe it'll help give someone some ideas.

My cans look ruff so I'm going to wrap them next. Been using high heat resin on the parts, so far around the exhaust with no issues, but I'll need a longer run to be certain it can handle not only the temp, but the time at temp. Has anyone on here done that themselves with the wrap?

That technology was being done back in the Flinstone era when female master tooling had'nt been invented yet. This is the kind of top shelf stuff that is being made here locally.

Ilmberger offers sleeves for the 1199 pipes, haven't seen anything for the 1299. i'd rather coat them with a fresh layer of VHT paint than a CF wrap.

Dude flipped his Ferrari yesterday in the dip past parsons branch on the dragon. Be safe because peeps cross the line. 32 in Cosby is similar and the state runs troopers on beemers on the Skyway. Do a recon run before you Crack it open.

I live close and haven't and won't deal with the egos.
