Hi all,

Anyone in Australia experienced Ducati Dealers discount when buying new paying cash?

I got 4% off MSRP in the USA. If they have a bike on the lot, they’ll make a deal
Invoice is closer to 16% off but you can’t get that unless you have a relationship with Ducati in Italy and they ship you a bike directly.

buy it and don’t look back. Just be sure to max out your insurance coverage

Yes this will be my 3rd panigale after my 1199 and 1299, only 1 dealer in my state here in Australia so no real competition! I expect at least a free rear stand thrown in

Hey Turks, I am in exactly the same boat as you in Australia. For both my last bikes, I shopped around online interstate, and then contacted the cheapest dealer.

With my ZX10, there was a dealer in Hervey Bay (1,500Km away from me) who had a the lowest price plus a free on-roads deal. He was prepared to trade the free-on roads for shipping. He actually gave me a quote and said take it into the local dealer and see if they'd match it (which they did) and saved me a couple of grand.

I did the same with my V4. I had planned to go into Sydney to look at a couple of demo's, but was offered a couple of grand off for a newy locally (I had pre-approval for the cheapest finance I could find, which is almost as good for bargaining as paying cash).

Hope this helps

Hi Nadsy,

I bought a new 2019 V4S model in about August of last year. Yeah, I think I got about a $2.5K discount (total, on the road)

Awesome cheers Nadsy,

Unfortunately in little Adelaide only 1 dealer! He gave me no discount on both my 1199 and 1299 Panigale! so this time will be pushing for some!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I like supporting the local dealer, but not at the expense of thousands in my pocket. Have a look at some Melbourne dealers online and see if they'll price match (including the shipping cost). It wouldn't cost much to ship from Mel - Ald... Or what a lovely trip back on a new bike ;-)

Yes very true Melbourne dealer Frasers did say back in 2015 they would match the Adealide dealer! Just leaves me in a crap situation because i then have to get it serviced there!
