Seized, I had to take them out... Rolling the dragon with just the front brakes now.

Its a real bitch to take off that rear rotor too...

Great find Phil! Bad luck though. Thanks for the reminder to us. Enjoy the Gap man!
 
2nd set in the front since about 2k miles, total at 11k miles now. front are about half down.

i only use the rear on the track, but there hard (thanks ABS ;) ) so since the last session was at road atlanta three weeks ago, i just didn't realize that i wore them down there. the metal plates jammed between the caliper and the disc, generated a lot of heat and got the fluid to boil and ultimately the brake to seize.

i took the caliper off road side and squirted some good amount of fluid out, just to get the pistons back.

ran the rest of the trip without rear, no problem. ;) new pads are in.
