I got the tank protection kit for the 1199 pani @$19.
Tho similar to 3m film the good thing about this film is it can be removed and reapplied 5 minutes or six months after install.
1199 Panigale, The Tankslapper
I've been using 3m film for many years, would buy the uncut film and just make pieces as needed.
Heard about tankslapper from a friend and put some on my rsv4.
Install is easy but take your time with it. You absolutely want to get the squeegee they offer, tho a credit card will work, the squee is better.
Applying: clean the tank thoroughly rinse off with water to get any lint off. Make a mixture of 30% alchohol 70% water spray on the tank, then pull the tank piece off the paper and spray the back of the film. Place the film where you want it then slowly work out from the center squeegeeing the water and bubbles as you go. You'll probably have to lift areas and reapply as you go, spray more water/etoh to keep everything wet, take your time. The film is quite flexible (the sides of the tank are tough because of the compound curves.
I'd take a pic but you wouldn't be able to see it
