I am looking to set up my V4 to my liking, so after the "rearset recommendations" are here the clip ons recommendations.
The stock clip ons are too narrow for me. It actually hurts my wrists. Also, I want to lower the levers of the brake and clutch. Not the distance, but how they position in line with my arms and hands.
Both clip ons and levers have fixed positions with pins and tabs. So in order to change this, I probably need to change my clip ons. I have never done this and I have a few worries.
When trying to change the default clip ons (just playing with non-existing adjustments), on the left side my clutch lever touches the fairing and on the right side the angle of rotation is narrowed because of the steering damper. The nut of the steering damper is connected with the right clip on, so widen the clip on makes it touching the damper faster.
I was thinking of ducabike clip ons, but wondered what else was needed in order to make everything work for me. I don't want to order new clip ons to find out only the stock position works...
