Guys quick question here...

When you bleed your clutch, do you to it at the master cylinder? Or at the slave?

I noticed that there is a bleed valve at both sides.

I am nearing 2200 miles and my clutch fluid looks a little too dirty for my taste. I did replace the fluid at 500 miles, but didn't bleed it as it was fine back then.

But it is much dirtier now and I like to bleed every other fluid change.

Thanks.

I bleed the master on top first, then slave.

Only hurdle is the small reservoir... Lay out plenty of rags

it's funny i never had any issues with the oem master cylinder and now i have an RCS i have to bleed it.

i bleed it at the master.

thanks

Thanks for the responses.

I should hit 2500 by next weekend. Then I will change the engine oil and filter and do the clutch bleed.

It doesn't feel that bad, it is just something I like to periodically do to my other vehicle with a hydraulic clutch.

If you have the vac, I bled it at the slave. No pumping, just crack open the valve and suck it.

I do. I have a kit that I bought from Harbor Freight that attaches to my air compressor in the garage.

You just attach the pump to the bleed valve, attach a 100psi air supply to the pump, open the bleed valve and pull the pump lever. It pulls the fluid for you.

I love it. Works like a champ on my cars...

Here is a link to the kit: Brake Fluid Bleeder.

If you do your own car and motorcycle maintenance, this kit is a must!

Dangit. I just bled the whole system on the cayenne with the wife pumping the tesla yesterday. You could have posted that 1 day earlier ;)

And then I bled all fluids on the pani. Rolled like a champ today
