Being the tart that I am, I'm not happy with the colour of the clutch cover. When everything is red or black it stands out.

Except for Ducabike clear covers are there any other options? Because of the dust cover on the v2 most I've found are for race use and need to dust cover removed.

No idea what dust cover you are referring to but you can make the oem clutch cover any color you want

search Cerakote

search Powder coat

search Krylon

You could look into a GB Racing cover. They go over the stock clutch cover and you could paint it. It would give you better protection than stock and you wouldn't have to paint the stock part (or remove the stock part).

EDIT: There is concern that the GB Racing clutch cover will not work with stock V2 plastics, but I have not been able to confirm this yet.

Get protection, function over form. I've ground through 2 covers, very easy to do my preference is the DP alloy skid plate

Agree with Paul. For the street bike, clutch side it the T Rex and the other side I made my own

Thanks Don, I think this will probably be my best route. I will research which method is best

From what I've found out the gb covers and the fullsix carbon cover all require you to move the dust cover (the black plastic cover between the fairing and the clutch that is only on the v2) as otherwise there isn't enough space to clear it. This is why they say it isn't intended for road use. Only the half moon covers clear it.

Whats nice about the Ducabike 2 piece clutch cover instead of the 1 piece Ducabike clear clutch cover is that you can get the back portion in black. Then get the outer ring in red, black, gold or silver. Or get the rear section in red. And get the outer rings in red, black, gold or silver. But what I like about this system is you can add a slider to the outer ring. In the event of you dropping the bike the slider offers more protection. And all you need to do is change the slider. With the CNC Racing and Ducabike 1 piece clear clutch cover if you go down the cover will protect the clutch. However the bottom or whichever way it hits the ground will get damaged. And you would need to buy a whole new unit. With the 2 piece unit and added slider. Even if the slider gets ground away and the outer cover gets damaged. All you need to do is replace the outer ring and slider. I have the 1 piece unit when I crashed . It saved my EVR CTS slipper clutch but the bottom of the cover was ground away. Now I have the Ducabike 2 piece clear clutch cover and ducabike slider. If you get tired of the outer ring color or slider you can always change things up. They arent expensive.

When you have a clear clutch cover the inside pressure plate and retaining ring are this ugly army green color. So guys add a pressure plate and retaining ring. Or just the retaining ring. Even with a ducabike clear clutch cover you can add cnc racing pressure plate and retaining rings. Here are links for different ones

Does anyone know if the oem clutch cover from other panigales fits the v2. Going to get mine done in black but would rather buy a secondhand cover to do it on so I can still ride with the fleeting summer in the UK

I got the carbon half cover because it was local and needed something immediately to cover a pinhole weeping oil from an off, but this is the best option

I have the GB, and it's great. But it's on a race bike. It looked like it would fit with OEM fairings, but reading the above, maybe not.
