Anyone know how to remove touch up paint from the rims (1199s) without damaging the piss poor paint on the rims.

Tried metho and isopropyl alcohol both removed some paint but damaged the rim paint, it also left a residue if I use paint thinner then it will damage both severely.

Had something similar on 2 Panigales. The first was replaced on warranty. Be very careful though, it now states in the manual that if coating/paint damage occurs because of something/cleaning materials you have put on the bike they won't touch it.

This is my first ducati.. ( a 1299)an i've noticed that.. The finish on these things is ....... fragile. I dont know why but they are, its ridiculous.

Unless you wash or change your cloth everytime you clean her you will mark the paint for sure. Never had that issue with my suzukis. Best thing to do with this bike is get it paint corrected and ceramic coated by a reputable detailer....
Or yourself if your confident.
