Hey all I went to replace the fluid in my clutch line and the master isn’t pulling fluid from the reservoir. I tried. Pneumatic bleeder and nothing. I’ve never had this problem before. I tried searching the forum and couldn’t find anything on it. Last year I upgraded to an Oberón slave and fren tubo line. I still have the stock clutch meter though

Cap is off of the reservoir?

Its got to be something basic and dumb that's just being overlooked because your frustrated with it.

How did you get all of the fluid out?

Could be the self bleeding valve being stuck? Have you tried pulling fluid up through the lever bleed by attaching a reservoir to the slave?

Didn’t work so I took the master off and there was some sort of blockage where the reservoir tube goes into the master. I tested it with my hand vacuum pump. I fired up my compressor and blew air threw the master and it seemed to clear it up. Have to run out now when I get back later I will hook everything up.

Went and hooked everything up clutch feels better than it did before. The pneumatic bleeder was a great investment. Took mea few minutes to bleed the clutch

I had similar issue last summer. I have also Oberon slave cylinder. The fluid was only few weeks old (Motul RBF 600), but had seen few hot track days and turned looking bit gross and it was almost like gel on top of the reservoir fluid. That gel had probably blocked the master. I ended up disassembling and cleaning the master cylinder to get it unblocked. I was wondering if any of the gaskets or assembly grease etc in Oberon slave or DP/Rizoma Wave reservoir were having some reaction with the fluid to make it go bad.

That sounds like someone has mixed non silicone based to silicone based fluid.

i just had something similar happen..it would not pull from the reservoir.. sometimes when the master cylinder and the line from the reservoir are completely dry and even after you fill the reservoir, the feed tube has an air bubble in its full length...after a few minutes of trying to get it to pull fluid with the bleeder open, i just started squeezing the feed line from reservoir and bubbles started to come up through the fluid. once no more bubbles came up.... it started to pull fluid while pumping the lever..

also if the bleeder is open, and there is an air bubble in the reservoir line, when your pumping the brake lever , your just pumping air in an out of bleeder. i like to put the vacuum hose line on the bleeder (no vacuum applied) , then point the line up so it fills with fluid and i can see air bubbles coming up if there are any..
and just crack the bleeder so that its bleeding but there is just a bit of pressure on the lever...then slowly pump the lever till no bubbles are coming up...hold the lever down and close the bleeder.
