So I have roughly 1200 miles on a 2019 v4 the bike and have read the clutch problems... so as of today I had the dreaded problem happen. It first was a shorter pull on the lever and as the day went on it turned into no being able to get the bike into N... then at the end of the day it went to with the clutch pulled in, at a stop the bike wanted to keep going forward.

So my questions would be will a bleed work?

should I switch out the fluid to the motul brake fluid with a higher temp point?

should I just buy the CNC slave and also do the motul fluid?

im looking for a permanent solution if one Is out there?
thanks for your feed back

Yup bleed from the master with 11mm. U dont need to fully pull the clutch and shoot out a lot of fluid. Actually u don’t have to bleed out any fluid... just the air

time for a new clutch slave cylinder if it continues

this is y I say “the best kind of Ducati is the one still under warranty” although this upgrade is cheap $200 part, $100 labor or do it yourself

Thanks for the input. I’m still under warranty but dealer is 5 hours away so I’ll start with bleeding and go from there.

.... that. My 1299 needed bleeding b4 every ride. Dnot let that .... get on ur paint or it’ll chemical burn it, don’t let it get on ur skin or it’ll shutdown ur kidneys.

keep a notes tab in ur phone for this .... so they can fix it when it goes in for service

oh and remember not to tighten the piss out of that bleeder valve or the seals will get ruined and it’ll leak. Just snug it, it’s not holding on a wheel

There’s just enough room to carry an 11mm spanner in the rear seat hump, then you can bleed it during the day if necessary. It takes no time at all to do.

Before you spend any money make sure the clutch line bulletin was done. I have a 19V4s and haven’t had any issues. Mine was done before I bought the bike.

I had the new clutch line installed by the dealer, still needed to bleed the clutch after every other ride.

what exactly did this entail? I got a 2020 sitting here with 30 miles on it. We’ll see if it holds up. My 1299 needed new clutch slave at 1,800 miles

So an update!!
I’m an .....!!!!.... so everything was good. I had put on new asv levers and had the clutch lever adjusted way to close. After adjusting it out the clutch pull is so much better than it has ever been. Thanks for all the inputs and help guys.

The line from the clutch lever to the slave cylinder is replaced with a 2mm line, supposed to help with the pressure.
