CNC RPS rearsets on a 1299 anyone?

I have read about clearance issue on the foot controls designed to fit both 1199 and 1299 when fitted to the 1299 due to lower fairing positioning for 2015. Anyone running these that can comment about this issue or any other gripes on these when fitted to the 1299? Trying to decide whether or not to pull the trigger.
 
Got a communication that CNC have already accounted for this and should be no problem. I will update if anything to the contrary comes up.

I have just put some Chinese ebay specials for a 1199 on the 1299, just needs a bit filing out to go around the bolt on the swing arm

I finally had a chance to get these installed. Despite the absence of any instructions, other than the exploded drawings, the install was really very simple. No clearance issues with the lower fairings. No adjustments required for me on the brake side and only slight adjustments on the shifter side in terms of pedal height. I arbitrarily picked the current peg location and so far it has been pretty good for me. I didn't think to measure the stock position before putting them on so I don't have a reference as to where this is by comparison but it is slightly higher and farther back. The knurled toe peg on the brake side is great. My only "slight" complaint is that the shifter peg is going to require getting used to and maybe making some adjustments. This is the first set of aftermarket rearsets I have owned without a little rubber boot of some kind on the tips. After an afternoon of riding the top of my foot is a bit sore in that spot. Not a lot, but noticeable whereas I never noticed this on the stock units. As I mentioned - may just need to adjust the location some. The footpegs are short, but very grippy. By default they are folding, but they are drilled for, and include, roll pins to make them fixed so that is up to you. Overall - very good quality stuff. The matte finish carbon heel guards are interchangeable with the factory aluminum ones - identical so if you already have something else you prefer - they should fit these as well. Nice stainless fasteners - others I have used have come with cheap fasteners and that is always disappointing.

Hey Scott, thnx for the update. I have these on back order from BellissiMoto. Approx 2 week wait. I am a little guy so need all the adjustment available. These seem to fit the purpose. Those look absolutely awesome on your bike. The red appears to match pretty close. Can you take another pic of them from further away. Those are sweet.
 
Yea - I'll get a pic for you from further away. My camera may be a little hot on the reds, but they do look good IMO.

How did you attach the shifter? Did you put on the shortened one following with? If so, how did yopu take apart the quick shifter? I cant get this to work, only 1 gear is working now, cant get it over neutral :s
 
Just figured it out.. you have to take out the whole ....... quickshifter, and to do that you have to loosen the clutch whose.. that means i need to bleed the nipple for clutch fluid! THAT IS SO ....... ANNOYING. I am so mad right now... Then it should ....... come with clutch fluid because I will need some... Asholes making this .... with no explination and in a way so you have to take apart your quickshifter...

Let me know how those work out. I want some of the rizomas, but my wife is giving me a hard time about the cost.

Been thinking about some of these cheap Chinese as a stop gap measure...
 
Sorry I didn't get to this until just now. As far as taking apart the quickshifter - DONT! 50/50 you'll ruin it. They put so much loctite on mine that it was impossible to get apart. I actually ended up having to replace it and cursed Ducati for 2 weeks while I waited for it. Hindsight being 20/20 I'd have let the dealer do that part. It would have been cheaper! If you are lucky enough to have it apart -You do not want to remove the spring. Only swap the CNC driving rod for the OEM one. Had I gotten here soon enough I would have suggested you pull the slave cylinder rather than the hose. As long as nobody touches the clutch - should be no need to bleed it. With new quickshifter parts this is a super easy install - just need to remove the clutch slave to gain clearance for removing and installing the quickshifter linkage.

Woa! You don't have to undo any of the clutch slave cylinder's hoses!
I have these rearsets and the install IS easy.
You need to use the shorter shift arm that comes with them. To do that, you need to remove the existing shift arm from the bike. I did this:
Remove the three tiny bolts on top of the quick shifter black box. Lift the black box off the shift arm. Be careful; there are two delicate micro-switches on the underside of the cover! Undo the rose at the gearbox end of the shift arm. Undo the three bolts that secure the clutch slave to the engine block. Carefully slide the slave off the rod that connects it to the clutch. Now you should be able to slide the whole arm out.
With the arm out, you can unscrew the long part of the rod from the black box housing and replace it with the shorter one that comes with the rearsets. Ducati use a lot of thread lock on this. I used a hair drier to put some heat in before unscrewing the arm. Do not unscrew the union that holds the spring into the black box housing!
 
I usually do all my installs myself but after trying to remove the super loctite oem shift rod I said f this dealer will install. Was installed beautifully and no issues.

No clearance issues and tons of adjustability.
