I recently ordered some Italian CNC stuff from the USA and the supplier is taking a long time getting it to me. No stock and so I have to wait for it to come from Italy and then onto Australia.

Anyone else know of a supplier that is quicker than that. I am waiting over 5 weeks now.

I would not mind if they were up front on the website about no stock but they only tell you after you order and then enquire.

I had the same problem with Bellismoto/CNC on my Titanium flange. Took forever. I think certain CNC parts are rare and expensive to make (setup time, materials) so they wait until they have multiple orders. Not Belles fault, but, yea, they should give you a heads up of a lead time.

If it is indeed Bellismoto USA then you can usually call them up and they are honest about what they have in stock. My experiences with them have been positive.

Trust me, the margins aren't big enough, and the demand isn't great enough to keep the $1125 actual Titanium flange in stock at all times. It is definitely a special order only kind of item.

All in all though (and Gunny can attest to this) we stock approximately $25,000 in CNC Racing products at all times.

Yes, I know, we don't have every color, of every item in stock at every moment, but that's basically impossible to do (we are working with Italians you know).

Remember how it could take 6-8 months to get what you wanted for you Ducati 5-10 years ago? Be glad we've gotten it down to a ~ 2 day to 3 week time table today.

Bingo,

If you're in a rush, you can always call or email us, and we will tell you exactly what is in stock or not.

I tried to make clear, CNC wasn't keeping it in stock, therefore it was out of your control - and no, nobody expects to you stock everything, my dealer only stocks Rizoma, and only a select few pieces.

Ahhh, gotcha.

But we really do do it big.

For instance, here's our Rizoma WALL (Yeah, no other dealer in America has a bigger display than us ;) ).

Very impressive. I *LOVE* Rizoma ; pure quality. That is indeed the largest Rizoma wall I have personally seen.

Them pending Rizoma mirrors for the 1199 will no doubt sell like hot cakes.

Thanks and we are looking forward to seeing them, we have a few on order already, but Rizoma said those mirrors are 4 weeks out...

I'm dealing with the same crap. the CNC website doesn't say out of stock and put in an order and still nothing. Wish CNC website was more clear on telling you where you're actually ordering from and if it's in stock. I had no idea I ordering through Belisimoto till after the fact.

Going through Bell dosen't help much, as they don't stock much of it at all - and aren't clear on timelines, because CNC isn't with them eihther. I would almost bet CNC's are manufactured in China, so a big lead time for them to get parts we order.

I think I'm going to ride to Belli when I move to NC here shortly :). I'm sure I'll run into someone on here.

It's funny, this sort of "BellissiMoto doesn't stock much at all" thing happens every year round this time.

Reality is that I am not some sort of fortune teller. You can walk into my shop at any point and see literally hundreds of CNC Racing products in stock at all times.

But how many of each product, in each color should I keep in stock?

1? 2? 6? 10? Naturally there is no easy answer, but I'll have a product sit on the shelf for 4 months, perhaps 5 deep on the stock, then all of a sudden they get popular and 8 sell in 2 weeks.

Guess what? The last 3 ordered are just gonna have to wait until the next shipment arrives from Italy.

Anyone who thinks these products are made in China should order some of the Chinese crap knockoffs that dominate ebay, 5 minutes after receiving those parts you'll be wishing you'd have bought the real deal Italian designed and manufactured products.

I've visited the factories of many of my suppliers, seen their CNC machines, their designers, met their racers, etc... This isn't some internet fantasy, this is real life.

Phew, hope you guys understand I love ya all, this isn't meant to be derogatory in any way, but simply to shed some light on how the world works in our industry.

Additionally, it's only 11:08 pm and yes, I'm still at the shop, working. Perhaps in another hour, I'll be done for the day.

Thanks Randy. I can confirm the impressive stock. And Randy's passion for the bikes and the biz.

Cheers

I think you're missing the point - the request was just to add "In stock" to items you have in stock (one site has quantity in stock), and best case lead times, like, "usually ships in x days" All this of course is technically possible depending on youir web software. I am sure no one expects you to keep everything on your site in stock.

I know these are all nice to haves, just trying to clarify the requests/complaints above. And we all love youi too (at least your models).
