I commute into work on my V2 pretty much every day and plan to continue doing so through the winter as I have with Japanese bikes in the past. It doesn't get that cold in Tokyo (say around 2-5C lows in Jan/Feb and 10-12C highs) but temps will sometimes creep below freezing at night and, aside from high-siding my Fireblade once on black ice (goodbye pelvis), and having my old ZXR400 constantly cut out due to carb icing back in the day, things largely been OK. It seems a lot of Panigale riders take their bikes to bed with them and give them a nice warm cuddle during the winter months so I wanted to know if anyone has successfully traversed a winter without any major wobblies, and how well the Diablo Rosso IV Corsas held up.

i run Corsa 4s, and they are pretty terrible/hard/slick in any temp below 10C...just be careful with throttle my man. The Rosso 4s (non corsa) i have heard are better cold weather tires...but do not stick as much in the warm...
