Has anyone heard or used the Competition werks exhaust system? I am looking for a new exhaust but im not extreamly happy with the 3-4K price tag on the termi or akropovic exhausts. Just looking for something that costs 1500 or less but still sounds and looks good. Thanks in advance.

No full system is in that price range so if your budget is $1500, I'd either get the termi slips which you will find used on here for even cheaper with some patience or maybe even the akrapovic slipon whenever that releases, although that will more than likely be in the $2k-$2500 range IMO. I'd wait a bit if I were you.

the austin racing bellypan might be close to that...

Ya know, I was never a big fan of these either until i actually held it in my hands at Bellissimoto and saw how lightweight it was and heard the single exhaust port rowl when fired up! I agree w Phil that it may be under rated but right now it seems the only two front runners are Termi and Akra IMHO. If I had the extra ching Id invest in Akra since the premier tuner for this system is a close friend of mine and I know it would be done 100% spot on the first time!

I had my Termignoni slip ons repaired and had the Termignoni manifolds and slip ons ceramic coated inside and outside, but must say the CW slip on sounds better.

I have my CW slip on and the standard manifolds sans exhaust valve (ceramic coated and fitted with bungs for proper wide angle Lamdas for sale for USD 1 500 both. The bungs is not currently ceramic coated, but I will get that rectified if somebody buys it from me at no extra cost.

The only reason why I am selling my CW slip on is that I was informed by the guys who repaired the Dragon Lady in SA that the CW's will fit my Termignoni exhaust manifolds, which it did not.

I think the CW exhaust is highly underrated!

I agree! I haven't heard one in person but I heard its loud and throaty. im debating between that or the Akra slips but if the Akras price are comparable, I will get those. if they are 1000 more I may get the CW.
