"Damage caused from heat"... yea, from a fire. That fully engulfed the bike. And everything around it.
 
This guy has had this thing posted for several weeks. I thought about posting it to here several times but said "nah, nobody cares." LOL glad to see someone else took it up. Theres another guy on there selling another completely cooked and cracked up header guard asking over $50 as well. People literally sell or at least try to sell garbage on ebay. I got a big laugh when I first saw this nd another one now so thank you!
 
Not sure what the issue is. That is the new Ducati Corse "Heat Treated" carbon fiber. Very hard to get. This is the first one I have seen available outside the factory teams.
