Crash Bobbins

Hi Guys,

Any one on here installed crash bobbins?

I googled it, and saw some R&G bobbins, not sure if anyone on here has put them on, and how do they look and ride with?

Or has anyone drilled their fairings??

He is probably referring to the "cut" sliders that require you to drill a large hole in the fairings so they can attach directly to the frame.

I've seen a few 848evo that drilled their fairings so they can bolt on the crash bobbins. Not a good site!

I never have really like those things they can do more damage than good . Most likely OK in a light low side in anything decent it's going to damage the thing it's mounted to .

Technically, I didn't say I was going to bolt sliders to my frame. I was simply explaining what the other guy meant when he was talking about drilling holes.

Agreed. I don't run sliders on any of my bikes.

Typically a good set of fixed peg rearsets and good clip-ons are sufficient (along with case covers).

The only Ducati that i installed a crash bobbins, is the monster 1100evo.

either than that, i haven't bothered.

But thanks for advice guys, i'm going to leave this one out.
