Hey all,

I know this has been gone over and I did some searching and didn't find out what, if anything had been done for those who have experienced it.

After riding in the rain or a wash I'd get some fogging within the screen. I'd leave it in the sun and it'd evaporate. Not a good thing, but thought I'd hear of a recall or reason.

With my latest "can line" error I thought this might have caught up with the bike.

Has anyone had theirs replaced, recalled or info provided from dealers?

Any info through experience would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Can't really help with the screen fogging, I have had the 'can-line' message though. In my case it was a duff DP alarm, although a range of faults can cause the message.

The most important thing is that when the bike produced the 'can-line' fault it interfered with the rider aids, particularly DTC and DQS. I'd recommend turning them all of until the problem is fixed.

Yeah, mine suffers from it too. Not too much of a problem, but more worried about moisture and electronics. I contacted the dealer and they got me some replacement clocks from Ducati in a week. Still waiting for them fitting though as the salt on the roads is stopping me getting there, weather in the UK is pants. The only problem with the new clocks is they will be set to zero again on the mileage, guess it'll screw up the service interval notifications etc....

Same here...mine fogs like hell even if I didnt wash or ride in the rain...My local dealer has ordered the replacement Dash for my 1199 "S". Also it has caused my horn and trip meter buttons to malfunction. Apparently, the dash has 5 slave ECU's that control the Horn, trip meter etc....thus affecting it.

Right hand switch malfunction is due to a Dash problem...so I can't wait to replace my dash really soon! Only problem: As Boro Bob says- with the new clocks they will be set to Zero-0 again...Darn!

Mine was replaced at 1900 miles with no questions asked.

As was said, now reading 0 miles.

Thanks all & good to know.. Yeah, I'm going to get it replaced. I still think it was the leads to the battery tender that led to the "can line" error, but I'm sure that moisture / condensation will eventually lead to an issue.
