Does that thing have a motor? Because I swear I can't hear anything except wind blowing and some faint mechanical whine that sounds vaguely like a sewing machine. :p

It's the most luxurious long distance Touring motorcycle in the world, should it sound like a race bike ?

He's just messing with you. If my wife would ever consider riding with me I would probably look in to one of those as well (3rd bike). But I have a better chance of her allowing me to have a mistress.
 
Good stuff Duc One... Those goldwings are truly great bikes and are perfect for their purpose. And yours is extremely well kept....

I think this can be reworked for long range cruisers vs. the 1199... :)
 
great memories of the GW back in 94 when we did the full WESTCOAST tour...
Left those harleys for dead on this Behemoth... :) the queen off smooth... :)

I started riding Gold Wings because my wife no longer would ride sport bikes with me.

I love to ride the Wing with the wife, just about every weekend during riding season we take off on a nice long ride, it's a very capable motorcycle for it's size.

My bike has lost of mods, the most significant being full Traxxion suspension with their Billet Triple Tree mounted on tapered roller bearings.

Suspension includes, front and rear springs rated for our weight and style of riding (balls out) with fully adjustable compression and rebound damping, pre-load hydraulically adjusted on the rear.

The bike also has OEM things like Reverse, ABS, built-in Navy, 320 Watt stereo with a six disk CD changer, heated seats and passenger's back individually controlled, Grips and Toe warmers.

All the paint work was done by me including matching helmets.

It's an 06 bought new and it has 65K on it now.
