I know, the title is bad English.

I want to take my Pani on the track. The nearest track to me has 95 db noise limit. The frame sticker says 102 db and I guess that means stock pipes. I have the Termi slipons so the bike is probably louder than stock.

How is the noise level measured in general? Is there any way I can get my bike on a race circuit if the limit is 95 db?

Start by looking here: http://ducati1199.com/ducati-1199/1199-lowering-db.html

The valve is still in place and the cable to connect is still there (now disconnected to have the valve open). I understood that the RACE map delivered with the Termis will take care of this and the valve does not function anymore.

So you are saying I should somehow close the valve half way for the noise test and then open for the track? How difficult this is in Switzerland?

May come down to ... A/ Sell the 1199 or B/ Move...;)

Neither A or B is possible at the moment. I was caught speeding two times last weekend (with a f*****n car, not the Pani). Two tickets already with the Pani this year so it looks like the French authorities are going to take me off the road for a while. Because of this I am looking to get on the track. Option B is getting more tempting as the speed control is getting really tough here.

Anywhere else you could move??

Deutschland. Jobs, floods, bad weather, some sections of the autobahn no speed limit.
Police getting closer to bikers ..... also...

While I'm usually a grammer/spelling Nazi I must say I love your title! I too enjoy making new words to fit my daily problems. Ride on brother! I'm sure these guys will help you find a solution. While many of us are good at barking at one another we all end up working together for a solution.
:)

1. You can't call yourself a grammar/spelling Nazi if you can't spell it. How embarrassing.

2. It's been pointed out already that basic reading comprehension is difficult for you.

Hi. I got slip-ons and valve motor remove . What I do ( my closest race track Bresse is noise limit 95db) , 20 cm metal wire, tie that in exaust valve roller, turn valve in hand around 1/4 turn and tie down wire one bolt close to the valve.
Very easy. You can test sound you bike, just start motor, and turn valve in hand, and you can hear diffrence when valve is open/close
After test in track, just cut the wire.. I hope, that help..

Thank you very much for this idea. So you pass the noise test at the Bresse track with the slipons and the valve 1/4 turn closed? Do you have the DB killers in? I have to get a DB meter to experiment with this.
