Don't use them.
Cops to bother with that in Portugal.

Did you run out of film? You missed several great shots/angles, like inside the tank looking out, inside the muffler, etc. :D Beautiful bike!

Hi all,

So it's winter and less riding is involved.
It was time to have the R detailed. :)

Here are some pics of the process.

Curious why did you use tape around the tank and fairings ? Also I personally "dry clean" my bike with plexus and other spray chemicals I'm afraid to do soap and water so I don't damage the Speedo gauge with the water and fog like people complained about . And did you wax the bike as well if so what brand of wax did you use?

Great job! Congratulations on your beautiful bike from another Portuguese!

Cheers!

LOL.... The detailing and pics where not taken by me.
They where taken by the detailer.
But I'll warn the guy, for the next time... if he doesn't cover those angles, he will not have the R to detail!

The detailer used tape on some parts of the tank due to the fact that the tank has some parts in brushed aluminum.
Since he was going to polish the paint in the tank, if it touch the aluminum it would change the texture of it. :)
Hope I explained it well.

The detailing setup, I don't know all of it, but will ask the detailer.

I do know that he has used Nanolex has a paint sealant. The other products should be from Zaino.

F that

I spray the whole bike down with degreaser and high pressure the bike down every other week all summer long, every year and every bike ive had, and never had a single issue ever.

I am not making it pretty, im just knocking bugs and grime off so I can go out and beat on it.

Have been doing that with all my bikes this one makes me nervous because of the gauge fog I hear about

I figure I do enough rain riding if it cant take being wet, too bad.

Main thing I use is the red leds anyway.

So far no issues with the 13 fogging up. So far its been a oustanding bike.
