@DeussenEngines V4 Base with huge numbers...

What's the factory quote at the crank 226 with exhaust. So 224 at the wheel is a gain of like 20-25 HP. Bet you it's pretty zippy.

Yeah he is a respected forum member, this number seems crazy tho. Insights would be great

I bet the numbers are real. One side effect is it immediately 0s warranty on a very expensive engine

My tune was 222…. And so was a pal on a different Dyno similar bike!

Did you get another motor for your exploded R? I still think they should have warrantied that one. If you have the pieces laying about what happened to the cams?

Hey Bagger, as I’m exploring the KTM world there are guys that take a KTM RC8 (considered on of the best handling bikes of all time) and drop 2022 SuperDuke 1290 engines and ECU’s into them, apparently those engines just drop right into the RC8 frame…thought of you when I saw that.

Also Deussen is badass guys, highly recommend working with him.

@baggerman thanks for all support and apologizes for not coming back on messages. Getting '19 engine via a warranty on a 3rd owner Cat-N bike is totally impossible in EU/UK.

I think if this was never touched internally by anybody else that the factory would want to know about this one. The manual calls out for lock 2 on the screws. They should be put in with red, high temp stud lock and the swagged tubes brazed into the body. Mechanics won't care just need to get the torch out to smoke the loctite. I'd forward those pictures to whatever they call product assurance at Ducati. A death or serious injury induced by this and a smart lawyer would be eating Ducati's lunch on this one. I've always assumed you'd were already upright when the crank locked up. Heeled in at speed and this could be really ugly. I'm thinking they're removed and the galley plugged on the WSBK motors.

So the groups would be

A: factory poseurs
B: pragmatic realists
C: n00bs that think they know more than they do
