Are you all seeing this? My 848 would fog, but this is much worse. I really could not read the information on the display in bright sun. I was in the rain ~10 days ago and the bike has been in the garage since. Hot and humid here.
Thanks

i have not experienced this, any pic? the dealer should take care of this under warranty

I had a same problem, catch under heavy rain one day while right. The fog buildup when I right under the hot sun, but it will eventually goes away if you ride long enough. Unfortunately, there are couple water spots stay inside the display and no way I can get rid of them. My dealer told me they will replace the cluster under warranty.

Exact same thing on mine, only have a slight crease under the glass on the TFT. Again dealer have a new dash waiting for me to replace it, but not sure I want to, as the mileage will be different won't it?

My bike also did this after riding in the rain.
My 999 did this in the wet also.
Phonecall to the dealer imminent.

Mine fogged up this morning. Took an hour to clear up. I'll discuss it with the dealer this weekend as its time for the first service.

mine is the same, pretty bad, more so when i turn it off you notice fogged up section of screen
when its running i can still see display ok, the longer you ride it goes away,
im sure screen has some heat to it

? has anyone had one replaced as warranty
? is this a genuine warranty claim

I am waiting for the replacement parts..right now keep enjoying the bike :) Will keep everyone update if I got any news on the parts. Not sure if it is a claim or warranty thing.

Really? I did wonder how it worked... Do you think it will just display the current mileage ..?

They should be able to reprogram the Cluster back to the current reading by using the computer at the dealership.

Mmm shame re mileage, yes is a warranty issue as I have one waiting for me at dealers... But is more because of the crease under the glass not the misting up..

Mmm shame re mileage,

I think he's winding you up, I don't think swapping the screen will reset the CPU settings, this bike doesn't have the traditional single eprom ECU, it has a CPU and six control units for the various sensors (well 'S') anyway they are on a common bus feeding all the info back to whats really a CPU or mini computer, hence when you get Termi's you don't get a whole new ECU you get a map to 'load' into the CPU. All the settings and trip info and millage and service info etc etc will be in there, and I'd be really surprised if it gets thrown away with the dashbaord, I could be wrong but that is my understanding. But hey do us a favour get it swapped and let us know ;)

Unfortunately its not possible on current models (maybe next year;)

Yep... from what I understand, there is an entirely new part number for the dash display than first production run bikes.

It is supposed to fix the fogging issue and the display not recognizing the toggle switch.

They were unable to move the mileage on mine to what it was before the dash change.

So, my 5 month old bike now has 8 miles on it... Lol.

That's nuts, so do the pixies work out how many miles you've done each time you turn on the ignition, or is it stored somewhere, ummm I think the later, so if it's stored it can be changed. That's just great so any damage to the screen area and your bikes suddenly got a slightly dodgy history come sale time !

Yes but is all documented and in service book stamped by Ducati..

I'm just wondering about the rpm counter being at run-in level of 6k rpm for ages again...!.?

The ECU doesn't do anything to inhibit the amount of RPM's, even in the first 621 miles.

I will get a service light again at 621 miles though... I'll just have them reset it.
