Yes, which ones are you considering? I have the Termi slip-ons/UpMap.

I have the Akro 3/4 slip on..remap....and Sprint PO8 F1-85 air filter.....thing is a crazy beast

I have a two week old V4S with Akra slip on and up-map fitted by my dealer before delivery.
Rides fantastic but is crazy loud (for me) I have official Akra db killers fitted but they basically do very little killing of anything.
The build quality and aesthetics of Akra is stunning and they obviously delete cat(s) and exhaust valve so there a few plus points but my neighbours wont thank me every time I start it...
My last bike was an H2 that sounded like a hairdryer in comparison.

well...
if i'm not mistaken, if you take a road legal slip-on, you are just removing the cat, but replacing another cat (that is in the new slip-on)

How do you like them?

I love 'em. I'm happy to have saved money vs. the Akrapovic, loved the Termis on my 1098 so it was an easier choice for me knowing I love their sound.

Installation is more complicated than normal slip-ons, but manageable. The instructions are challenging at times, as is the language translation.

Loading the UpMap wasn't exactly the experience I'd like, the phone app and process is a bit cumbersome, again the bad translations probably attributed to the headache. Not horrible, just not great.

All in all, a few hours of work and you're rolling with some great sound. And they are "race only" so no cat...beware depending on where you live and your emissions regulations. Hate to have someone spend money just to not pass registration. Comes with the UpMap and the new air filter.

My dealership parts guy gave me a million excuses of why I should go Akra, and how I "CANNOT" install myself without seriously risking warranty voids (and even that I run great risk of melting plastics with even the slightest error). That and they didn't carry the Termis, they'd have to order it. All of this made my decision very easy...order Termis elsewhere and install myself!

No problems after several hundred miles with them on.

My v4 base is 5 months old bought it with Akro 3/4 slip on up-map and sprint filter.....fabulous bike is a monster.
