I find hard under braking having to really grip the tank hard, so sounds like this would give me more grip so can grip less hard with legs? Even on the street this would be great, or on a set of twisties with some good straights.
regular street riding ? No, not really.. . .
On the track - immensely.
I found the Techspec set to work really well with this bike. They include pieces for the fairings where a lot of riders' knees make contact. Having those little fairing pieces made a huge difference for me, especially under hard braking. And of course, the larger tank pieces work well while leaned over.

My thighs / legs don't touch the tank - unless I go on tippy toe - so do the little pieces on the fairing do enough to get enough grip?
I have clear stomp on my GSXR and you cant really see it and it works a treat. The black stomp / tank spec looks a little messy to me I have to be honest and I wouldn't put it on unless it became my track bike.
Hey guys about tech speck grips!!!!! I have a decent background of track days and my bikes are track setup and all the accessories i purchase are also race oriented. I had an 848 as full track bike until a month ago when i splurged for Panigale. Tank grips are of course a must and tech speck looked like the best option. Got it, installed it, took it to the track and after first session the lover pieces started to come off. The adhesive actually separated from the rubber and remained on the fairing. In the end it all mixed with dust and ruined my leathers. I wrote to tech speck and they admitted that they had a bad batch and sent me another set. I applied it and took it to the track. Same result one session, hard braking and lover pieces start to come off. Upper pieces are holding fine and i do use them to lock my inner thigh in when hanging off. I am trying to figure out a way how to make the lower pieces to stay in place.
