Hey guys, never had a bike with TC and was wondering what TC feels like when active.
I was riding particularly aggressively in some twisty roads and noted a few times the bike felt as if the clutch was slipping..........only having 800+ miles on the bike and being very light on my clutch, I doubt I have worn clutches..........does TC feel like clutch slippage when active?

Depends what level you have your TC set to. I personally ride with mine on 4, anything higher is to much control, you'll notice it coming into play when exiting corners hard by the yellow light at the top of your dash flashing on, on level 4 it doesnt come on. I didnt think it felt like clutch slippage but it felt like it killed power for a brief second to regain control, thats just my two cents.

+1 to above post. The only real indication I've had has been the yellow light coming on and a slight sensation of reduced power.

It is not intrusive at all and certainly nothing like the previous version on my 1198S.

I've done 1400 miles using level 5. So far I love it. I try to calibrate my hand to minimize the yellow light flicker. Very hard to feel it coming on. Almost seamless.

Totally agree with u. I see the light go nuts and cant even feel it.

Steve, that is your clutch slipping, the pani is equipped with a slipper clutch so at certain times you feel kind of a clicking sensation. Mostly noticeable on downshifts.

I ride with the default sport mode level 5, and I've noticed it come on a few times. Taking a turn that seemed normal in every way, and slowly cracking open the throttle. It's probably too much intervention. Does anyone have a lot of experience with the race mode level? I think it's default to 3? Manual says it allows sideways sliding. Anyone know how that level of TC feels? Do you slide a lot?

i ride with Race mode for the addicting thottle, but up the TC to level 4, when the rear lose traction, the bike act like it close the throttle a little bit for you, very smooth transition
