Lowed side my Duc on sat which was freaking incident. i was tumbling at least x10 time before came to rest next to my bike. Fractured tibia, right wrist and torn meniscus on left knee. without Shoe, Alpinestar glooves and suit and Sidi boots could have been worst.
already bought better gears and used CNA rearsets from Dwelch1889 to replace shifter side

Hope you got a big vial of perocet! Or some sweet Oxycotin....I had a similar high-side crash with injuries like that. Ruined my whole summer and fall.....

Sorry to hear, hope your recovery goes well and you don't go crazy during you time off the bike.

You copped all that an you were wearing a suit!? Jesus.

Wishing you a speedy recovery brother.

Get well soon!

Any piece of protective gear you wish you were wearing that you were not?

Was there anything looking back now that you think would have protected you better?

Come to think about it dont know if 1 piece suit will help any better protecting my tail bone. i did wear back protector with 2 piece suit with zipper. Pretty much all my gears need to be replace except for Sidi boots and back protector.

From now on will wear 1 piece suit which i do have but usually for tracks only

simple airbag vest saved my life once, got a better helite version now.

highsider - landing friggin split my schuberth SR-1 up 6" on the back. with airbag.
can't imagine the outcome without.

(that was at little talladega in 2016 - stopped by ikea in Atlanta on the way home and bought the wife some garden furniture as distraction :D )

Did they cut the leathers off? When I highsided at Summit Point during a CCS weekend I knew my arm and leg was broke, so I said yes.....cut them off boys. No was I was going to squirm out of leathers with broken bones.

+1 I injured my shoulder mountain biking... two month later I crashed at PittRace... 80mph lowside with a tumble... I was wearing my D-Air suit... 0 pain in my shoulder! Bruised up my knee and my wrist, but everything else was good... can't speak highly enough of ANY airbag system... well worth the money!
