Well, unlike most of you on these forums, I was an instant fan of the "primered" Panigale as some of you refer to it. When I found out late last year that the base model would also be released in white, I was all in and couldn't wait. Not that I dislike red but my 2 favorite colors are white and blue. My Evo is white so I may as well get a white bike after my last bike which was a pearl white 2010 675.

Like many of us here, I can't seem to leave any of my "toys" in stock form...Be it my car or motorcycles. Pani is no exception. I don't really intend on making any power mods since the bike is already plenty fast but I definitely intend on changing up a lot of cosmetic pieces on the bike. I've only got a couple of cosmetic pieces put on thus far but it has already transformed the look of the bike in a major way.

I was able to find a guy online who happened to replicate the R decals perfectly and initiated a convo with him about a possible custom color. Due to the language barrier (Italian) it was a tad bit challenging but he got what I was inquiring about. I mentioned to him that I have quite a few Rizoma parts and would like to have a decal set made to match as close as possible to the Rizoma blue color. He said he has an almost perfect match so I went with it sight unseen. It was pretty spendy but I'd do it again in a heartbeat after seeing it in my hands. The finish has a look to it similar to that of the R brushed aluminum finish on the gas tank. The photos really don't do it justice. Since all the gray decals that come on the white panigale's are clearcoated over, I wasn't going to attempt removing them. Therefore, I had to just go ahead and line it up right over the existing decal. This set is precisely cut to match the exact shape and size on the bike so you really can't tell that I've done this unless you are up close. Even then it is pretty difficult to see. You literally have to look for it but the average person would never see it.

I have a long list of parts that are literally just sitting in the box waiting for install but I either lack the necessary tools or the skill set to install some of this stuff and would rather just pay the dealer to install them rather than risk trying it myself. I ordered the entire Proti Titanium bolt/nut kit for this bike but only got around to installing the simple stuff. When I get the other stuff on, I'll update with other photos.

Here's what's installed thus far......
1)Some Proti Titanium bolts
2)CNC Bleed Valve Covers
3)Blue R Decal Set
4)DP Race Seat

Waiting to go on so far......
1)Blue Rizoma Next Fluid Reservoirs - 2 in the front
2)Blue Rizoma Rear Reservoir
3)LED headlight from an S - Waiting on a harness or may just splice wires
4)Smoked Integrated Taillight - Waiting on a tail tidy of some sort
5)Driven D3 Grips - Black grips with blue collars
6)Blue Rizoma Bar Ends
7)Rest of my Proti Nuts & Bolts - Around the hub and sprocket areas
8)Blue Shorty Levers
9)Blue Rizoma Oil Plug

I'm fully aware that we all have different tastes so some will enjoy the photos, others will probably vomit. Either reaction is welcome. I don't get offended. So I'll just shut up for now n throw up some photos.

Enjoy...........or don't :D

Beautiful!! I am a blue person too, and the bolts look awesome. IMO no other color looks good on the red, they look too-show-bike-ish. But here, they look perfect. How did you replace the tank graphics? Thanks for sharing!

I didn't replace anything. I had no choice but to stick it right over the factory decals due to the clearcoat. The way the decals come, it is nearly IMPOSSIBLE for you to mess up. You can youtube it and see the guy who puts them on. It makes it super easy and this particular decal is sooo easy to deal with as well in terms of bubbles and imperfections. Flawless application for sure.

I like the blue, looks good with white. However, I'm not a huge fan of inappropriately altering the trademark items....I see you left the red ducati shield for example.

That's because certain things I can't seem to change on the bike. Trust me, I'm searching everywhere to replace all the red pieces on the bike but it isn't that easy.

Great job, a very distinct look. Reminds me of some MV Agusta F4 specials in the past.

I like it. I am a fan of the white, but because I bought a left over 2012 I didn't have to make the choice. Your blue trim looks great.

CF, why can't you do something cool like this to your bike?

This is genuinely a winner. For this thread, this many postives is huge. Just don't put blue lettering on your tires :D

Haha. Definitely not! I was, however, considering white lettering but I'll leave it alone lol.

It kills me every single day staring at the boxes of parts just sitting there but I still have about 150 miles to go for my first service and want to just get all of that done at the same time. Daily commuting 3-4 miles to and from work isn't helping me much at all. I haven't even been out for a "real" ride yet. Hence the chicken strips lol. I don't care though. I get a thrill every time I ride the thing, even if I'm puttering around town on it. Well, I could do without the stalling but that's another story. I've got a couple of 20-30 mile roundtrips to make this week so hopefully I should be close to the first service by this Saturday and I can take it in for the rest of the goodies to go on.

Nicely done. Now you're going to have to contact Gunny for Blued Ti brake hardware.

Any custom decal shop could print you Ducati logos in blue. PM me if you want a guy I've used before who does excellent work.

Looks like you've started off the blue paint job quite well, let us know when it's complete :D .

Brake hardware? Such as??

Also, thanks for the offer. I'm waiting for a response from my original supplier to see if he can make me one so that it is all the exact same material. If he can't make me one, I'll be reaching out to you.

Thanks for all the positive words y'all. I just try to have something different. Even if it means that I may attract some negative attention from individuals who don't agree with the route I take with my toys.

Very tastefully done, doubleO. I'm not a particular fan of custom paint and decals, but you knocked this one out of the park!

Hey DoubleO,
Well done sir! If you are looking for some quality titanium, probolt does amazing work and the quality is top-shelf. Again, beautiful bike and I look forward to seeing your future additions.

Cheers,
DucPan

Nice!! I see your fairing is melting in the same place as mine though... Thought they would have had that sorted on the 2013s but I guess not.. :(
