Hi.

Been reading about the issues of the clear tank pad bubbling on application. Some have said that using a heat gun to soften the pad is the best way to do it. Does this apply to the carbon pad also? Or just the clear one?

What's your experience with the carbon guard?

I've had the matte carbon one on for over a month now without any issues whatsoever. Still not loving their new choice of carbon without glossy shine, but whatta ya gonna do?

Had the clear one that bubbled, so removed itand I got the Carbon one.

Been on nearly 2 weeks now, no issues with bubbling, and I didn't use a heat gun or anything, except a wipeto clean to put it on.

I always use a hair dryer or heat gun when applying stickers to anything or tank pads. It can only help with the adhesion. I also use the heat gun or hair dryer when removing stickers, warning labels etc.

or if it's a warm day just set it out in the sun, bike too.

So for application do you heat the outside of the pad or the inside (sticky part) of the pad while applying?
