I just installed the ducati performance carbon tank pad.

I like it. pretty cool that it comes with a paper template thing to help line it up

looks nice, love the template, ay pics from further back to see how it affects the overall lines of the bike? thanks

hah, I think you'll be happy with it. one install note. the template is great for lining it up, but i think mine's just a little crooked. can't really tell unless you look really close. pay close attention to the bottom and try to center it with the seat
 
I used a piece of painters tape, ran the edge from the center of the ignition key hole all the way down the tank to the center of the seat bracket.
The place the center of the template over the edge of the tape and tape that in place
Next, remove only the portion of the tape where the protector adheres.

Once done placing the protector, remove the rest of the tape.
