Tankslapper tank kit , only way to go.
They even have the matte finish material for the Rs middle brushed aluminum,,and shiny for the sides.
Just specify on the order form what model you have and they will fill the bill.
I have a New carbon DP protector in the package, no need for it as the Tankslapper kit is perfect.

A year ago when I had it installed, I didn't know about slapper - if I decide to take it off, and does so cleanly, I will do slapper.

Yeah, I believe the carbon retail is like $59 if you look around. If you have this much to blow and looking for something DP to install and look at, its not so bad. I have the tank bag pad over my carbon protector at this point. I like that tank bag pad especially when I am on top of my tank, in which case the big ass zipper on my Buco Jacket won' scratch up the tank.

Link? Mine will finish lifting eventually and I'm sick of worrying about it.

I have the full Tankslapper Kit.

I recommend.

Tank was a real pain to do.

It came off the tank at the corners in the middle of the pad. If it was the carbon you wouldn't notice but its the DP clear tank protector so the slightest air bubble shows. I'm giving it one more go before I just buy the carbon one.

Since you're giving it another go. Try heating it and the tank (after you clean it again) with a hair dryer. The plastic gets more pliable and the adhesive will become more sticky. I had the same problem with Techspec, but on my second set I heated up the pad and tank, so far so good. Also make sure the tank is dry before you start to put it on.

I installed this my self, a pro could do better i am sure, but i am happy with the protection that it provides, and you cant see it from a distance, so it doesnt detract from the bike at all.
Google tankslapper and it should take you right to the sight, Lucas is the contact, very helpful.
I had a carbon DP tank pad on my TRI, and the edges were always sticking up, and i was always trying to stick them down.
