DP LED Rear Indicators

Hi All,

Has anybody installed the DP led rear indicators on a 1299?

Do I need to remove the rear seat fairings to get to the wiring plugs?

I removed the underside panel of the number plate holder however the wiring goes into the frame.

Any advice would be much appreciated.

I suggest using stock wiring and get the adapters for OEM fit. I have the Rizoma turn signals instead but its the same concept. The wiring is under the rear cowl, lift up the small cover to get access to the wiring.

The wire connectors are located inside the subframe .
After you remove the stock licence plate holder assembly, you will see a black rubber grommet with the 3 circuits passing through.
If you gently pull on the wires, the 3 connectors will come out enough to be disconnected.
Just remember to mark Left/Right turn signal connectors to aid in correct assembly..
The rest is just a matter of remove and replace.
