I just tossed on my brand new DP rear sets, and 2 days in a row, my rides were cut short 10 minutes in for bolts falling off. Once on the gear linkage, and once on the brake side.

I guess even though they come pre assembled, DP didn't find the need to loctite the bolts...

Took everything apart tonight and loctited it all...hopefully doesn't happen again...

Yes they are only loosely assembled, NOT ready to install. This is due to the multiple configurations possible.

Lost my gear lever 150km from home. Ride back stuck in 4th was fun!

Thanks to this post I haven't lost any parts of my rearsets.
I did however have an issue last night. I stopped for fuel and had the engine off. When I went to roll the bike ahead it would barely move. I got off and checked the brake rotors and the rear was hot.
The bolt and locking nut that activate the brake light came loose. I didn't lose it but the vibration kept turning it out (lengthening) to the point that the rear brake was being applied.
I managed to get it set again and applied loctite when I got home.
