Guys,
So I purchased my 1299 used from a Ducati dealer (Iron Pony) here in Cbus and they gave it a full service before I picked it up. However, when I went to pick it up, the tech said the quick shifter wasn't working right (never got any details of what that actually meant). Wanting to take the bike home that day, they said for me to bring it back anytime and they would fix it. They went in and turned it off in all three modes.
I still plan to take it back in but thought I would put some miles on it and see if anything else popped up.
Today I said hell with it and went in and turned the DQS on to up and down. I rode it for several miles and........I think it works just fine.
My question is, as this is my first bike with a quick shifter, how would I know if it was working properly?
It appeared to upshift with a little jerkiness but nothing that seemed to me to be wrong and it appeared to downshift like described too?
