Driveline slack

I have over 3 inches of slack when i put the bike on a stand and see how far you can turn the back wheel while in 1st gear and motor off (DUH) before the resistance from the motor can be felt. 3+ inches seems alot to me but may be normal. Curious or is it an issue?

i LIGHTLY push under chain and push up to swingarm right on the motor side of the "kink" in the swingarm where the buffer ends. Just touching but not too tight! all the rest of the measures are BS....This procedure can be done on a center or side stand... dont over torque E-hub...

Not talking about chain adjustment. i am talking about how far the wheel will turn before the resistance of the motor is felt

It's related. 3in sounds like a bit much but it's usually around 1-2 inches ime.

Turn off the EBC and see what effect that has?
