For Sale Ducati Comfort Seat, Used Once

Selling a used once Ducati OEM Comfort Seat. Came on and off my 1199s. The seat is just not for me. Save a bunch asking 200.00 USD (via Paypal) plus 25 USD shipping anywhere CONUS. I believe this seat fits the 899, and 959. Check that it'll fit your bike before buying.

I have a stock, race, and comfort seat, and by a long shot I prefer the comfort seat. A soft seat is simply preferred on the street. At the track it has to be the the race seat. Stock is too slippery for use street or track for me.

Too each his own. I find the comfort seat way too soft. It lets you sink in too much so it puts pressure on the soft bits in between the "sit bones" (ischial tuberosity). Alot of people go in the wrong direction thinking they need a softer seat when what they need is a more firm seat so you aren't resting on your soft parts and resting on your sit bones. I ride MTBs now and used to roadride bicycles. Some of the most comfortable seats I've ridden just looked like a hunk of plastic that you'd swear looked like a torture device...

But if you say so and it sells my seat, I'll agree with you 100%

Im glad I read this post. Both my mtb and road bike have Specialized Power Arc saddles on and have zero pain from any ride (distance and/or time).

When thinking about doing a comfort or race on my V2 I was getting confused as well. Now I think I found the answer.
