2021 Ducati Streetfighter V2 has been confirmed by Ducati
After the release of the Ducati Panigale V2 and the Ducati Streetfighter V4, we can expect a 2021 Ducati Streetfighter V2 to arrive next.

Claudio Domenicali, CEO of Ducati, confirmed the new Ducati Streetfighter V2, when talking with MCN:

"We now have the Panigale V2 that makes 155bhp and puts you in the range where you can experience exciting sport riding without being extreme and we would like to have naked bikes in different categories, too. The Streetfighter V4 will remain at the top and then have other motorcycles where you get the same sports feeling with less extreme performance. We are thinking of a very interesting new naked model that will come sooner rather than later."

The standard Streetfighter V2 will have a 955cc liquid-cooled V-twin engine making 155 hp, fully adjustable Showa forks, Sachs shock, and twin monoblock Brembo brakes with cornering ABS. And for the higher spec Streetfighter V2 S, you can probably expect an optional quick-shifter, traction control, electronic engine braking, and MotoGP-derived anti-wheelie

I would expect to see the new 2021 Ducati Streetfighter V2 introduced at the 2020 EICMA.

The enthusiast side of me really likes the variety of motorcycles that are being brought to the public while the consumer side of me feels disappointed by the saturation. I remember when someone would mention they own a Ducati, fellow riders would damn near soil their panties. It used to mean somethin. Long gone are those days, even with the SL's but I understand..... it's just business.

Yeah I'm a little like you and find some of the Ducati models very main stream but they still make a fine superbike. I'm stuck in 2015 and will probably stay there, I'm old now so think this beautiful 899 will be my last superbike track bike and my kids can sell it when I go. In the past I've had a 996sps pista, 749s, ST4s, 1100 Multi, 1100s Hyper, 2 x848 evo's, 1098, 2 x 899's and an 1199 so not new to the brand they do make good .....

I actually disagree, because my first bike was a monster 821 and for the most part people acted like it was just a cool bike or i would get the “it’s the cheap and slow Ducati” i said .... it and bought a streetfighter V4 and the difference in attitude towards the bike is night and day. I’ve had nothing but compliments and people want to know about the engine, so for the high end .... it still has that magic to it. It really reminds me of ferrari if i see a California even the T lol wow big deal but a 488 pista I’m shitting myself

last time they did a street fighter they did the exact same thing so I am not sure what the talking point is here.. to me the blasphemous point here is that Ducati makes a bike called a STREET FIGHTER. smh

I guess this thing must be way more aggressive in ergos to separate itself from the Monster...? The last time around the difference was the Monster was a 2-valve air cooled bike and the SF was 4-valve liquid cooled. Now the differences seem less between them...

Still can't bring myself to call it a streetfighter. Anyone asks what it is and I tell them it's a SFV4.
