Ducati hides three negotiations that make Jorge Lorenzo ridiculous
The height of the Spanish pilot's highs come to light

Jorge Lorenzo is suffering a true crucis way since joining Ducati. It will earn a lot of money, but it is destined to bite the dust on the asphalt.
Worst of all is not to see how he will not be able to compete with Marc Márquez or Valentino Rossi. Which hurts.
The worst thing is not even to witness Maverick Vinales becoming an unreachable opponent taking his place at Yamaha. Do not.

Worst of all, especially considering how proud the Balearic is, comes when he learns that he has not been second or third plate of his new team.
In the last hours it has transcended confidential information of Ducati. The moves made by the Italian brand to sign a first level driver.
Before Lorenzo, the team tested Marc Márquez. This was the only name that had come to light. The Honda was Ducati's priority.

However, after Marquez came the turn to Maverick Viñales. After his good performance at Suzuki, Ducati thought of Catalan. But the Catalan received the warning of Rossi: that he had patience because the march of Lorenzo was a matter of time.
Offer to Stoner
Ducati still made a third move before launching the final offer to Lorenzo - the figure was much higher than they offered to Maverick; A proposal to a man in the house.

The Italian company thought to recover Casey Stoner as the team's driver. However, the Australian does not want to compete again. He's happy as a tester.
Lorenzo did not make a hint of grace to know that it was not the first plate, neither the second nor the third ... It was the fourth plate of Ducati!

So, rough translation, if it's true, Lorenzo was their 4th pick.

Not surprising. IMO the logical first choice was Marquez and/or Stoner.

much like peyton manning putting up numbers against no competition to make himself look good. really you put final points there for a guy in it 20 years.

owned only thing rossi owns is those guys with the dumb 46 tatoos on their arms.

If you look at the numbers since 2009, no made to order tires, and everyone on spec rubber, Pedrosa has more wins than Rossi - 22-18. Rossi does have a title in that time frame so he gets the nod. The more you dig, more evidence is unearthed that shows Rossi, although a great rider and one of the all time greats, is by no means the undisputed greatest of all time

All i know is when they shared the same track, Stoner owned Rossi, spending 70% of that time on inferior machinery. Even more compelling is Lorenzo, who has dominated Rossi in the time they have shared the same track while spending roughly 80% of that time on the same machinery. If you take away the year Rossi had a tire advantage, Lorenzo's dominance on the same machinery is more pronounced. It doesnt take a leap of faith to come to the conclusion that those 2 riders are/were better than Rossi.

This reminds me of the "who's a better rock guitarist" fights on the high school bus. Rossi is almost 40 and still competitive...he was old when he took on Stoner. Stoner is good but couldn't handle the pressure, and quit before he could be tarnished - So we'll never know....

He's not competitive there are 4 people that can win the championship 2 on Honda 2 on Yamaha. Rossi was given the seat in 2013 that is the only reason he is "competitive". If he was so great why could he barely best nicky on the Ducati. In fact nicky often did better than rossi on the machinery. He isn't even close to jlo on equal machinery.

And when maverick obliterates him and becomes enemy number 1 then we shall see real fireworks. See how lin handles it
