They look good... :)

I kind like the carbon version case of the Iphone 5.

I just got the black Element Rogue carbon/aluminum Ducati case (free gift at the Monster 1200 training) and it's a REALLY nice product! Draco Designs makes some really stylish Ducati phone cases as well:

Then look at product series, then click on Ducati collection.
Should get you there.
This is perfect for riding, holds an I phone, drivers license, and credit card, and a little cash also, just what I was looking for.

And I though $50 for a pos plastic otterbox was bending me over.....

$100 for a phone case. LOL

If you bought an otter box,

you did get bent over.......!

I am surprised that you could justify the price of the R

An otterbox may not be the prettiest case on the market but it was designed to protect your phone, hence the big bulky appearance. It is virtually bulletproof. Cost of an otterbox for a retailer is roughly around $10-$15 but they sell it for $50. At least this was the cost when I worked for at&t wireless 2 years ago. While these Ducati cases obviously look better, they certainly don't provide the level of protection the otterbox case does so at that point you have to ask yourself which is more important. Protect your $600+ investment or make it look pretty? I'd prefer to protect it.

Justifying the purchase of an R is completely different than a $100 silly case. That's like saying I can't believe someone would go out and buy a $30k Hublot watch (which is on the cheap end of the scale) but complain about the cost of a $400 Gucci belt. Personally speaking, I'd never in my life spend that much on a belt but would certainly invest in a timepiece. Some things are just not worth the asking price, regardless if someone ..... money out or not. It all comes down to how bad you want something and there will always be a market for higher end items.

Hey Double 0,
Not trying to start an argument, you spent a fair sum of money on rims on your bike, blue is not my flavor, I wouldn't spend my money for the same items you did, but the finished bike that you have produced is very nice, just not for me.
The element case will not protect the phone as good as an otterbox, but I don't want to look like everyone else that went to best buy, I want to have some thing that is unique, and that is where the element stuff comes into play, to me 50.00 difference is worth the price to be a little different, kinda like your 3,000.00 blue rims are worth it to you to be different than the rest.

And again, your bike looks sweet

Agreed. Exactly my point. All I was sayin was justifying an expense can't be generalized. These cases look much better than otterbox. No argument there. If it makes sense to someone, nothing else matters.
